Lottie Brown Steel Grey Upholstered Twin-size Platform Bed

We bought this bed for our young son, having a metal frame was a must as the last bed was wood and split when he jumped on it. This bed was fairly simple to put together, remember to not tighten the screws on the bed slats to allow movement to slip the slats in, this was the most difficult part. Also we were missing one screw, I have contacted Great Offer Stock to send more hardware to finish the job. The bed appears sturdy and is nice looking. The headboard however has a lot of play in it and moves back and forth. The metal round tube slats are slippery and the mattress is slipping around on them. I'm thinking of covering some of the slats with a material to make it less slippery. My son loves the bed we hope it will withstand many years of kid play. UPDATE: I went to a hardware store and purchased (4) 1.5" dia. 6' long foam insulating tubes from the plumbing department. I cut them in half and split them along their seam line and slid them onto the tube slats. This took care of the slippage problem. The extra screw came, actually an entire hardware package was shipped, about a week later, however, it was metal finish not black. luckily we were able to use the needed screw and the silver color was not apparent due to being hidden by the mattress.
