You get what you pay for These were a steal of a deal for less than *** . However, you definitely get what you paid for. While they look great against my kitchen bar, these bar stools feel cheap when you sit on them, the cushion has a weird trampoline effect and the legs are a bit wobbly (even when put together correctly).

Cute Barstools, Awful Assembly I purchased 8 (4 sets of 2) of these barstools. The stools look cute in the area they're intended for. They are definitely not the best quality, but for the price, I am not ok with the quality. I would not recommend them for daily use as they do not feel like they would withstand daily use terribly long. They're incredibly light, so they do slide very easily on my wood floors. The instructions that come with the stools are missing several key steps (like attaching the front legs to the frame). It is not difficult to infer what you're supposed to do, but don't be alarmed when the directions say you're through and you've got a substantial amount of hardware left over. I have currently put together 6 of the 8 barstools, and I'm trying to decide if it is worth it to put together the final two. Other reviews say it takes around 30 minutes per stool for assembly. I assumed since I would be assembling so many, I could probably get it done quicker after some practice. While I did get a little faster, it still averaged out to about 30 minutes per stool. When you're putting together two or four, this isn't a big deal. When you have eight to assemble, that's a big time commitment.

Slightly disappointed While the chairs are beautiful!! The size of the chair is actually 30" from floor to seat. Customer Service advised me that it would be no higher than 27-28" so dealing with a 35" counter height peninsula that would make sense. Again while they are gorgeous, aligning the seat legs can be and will be a pain (extra nails and hardware will be left). I would recommend these chairs for someone who does not mind the height of the chair. They are a beautiful linen fabric, I just personally probably will not be able to cope w/ the height difference as a couple inches goes a long way. I'll probably never order chairs again from Great Offer Stock :(

Worth giving it a try... Nice chairs for the bucks! However, I'm concerned there's no known weight capacity limit. After purchasing a similar constucted chair by a different manufacturer, who used additional brackets with the screws that secure the pieces, i decided that i would go to the hardware store to get similar brackets to better secure these chairs. Purchase scotchguard from the store and apply it yourself to protect the fabric cushions.

No, but neither did otger stools purchased from another retailer. I usually purchase cans of scotch guard and do it myself, and that worked wonders (as proven by a 2.5 years old visitor who dropped his Bbq sauce cup w/a chicken nugget in it. What a mess! But it cleaned right up!)

No think there is stain guard. However, we have spilled and clean up was easy. As a precaution and insurance you can use the spray guard offered in cans.
