Cast fry pan
This pan was used for 2 weeks over a camp fire, three meals a day. It was used to cook everything from bacon and eggs to steaks and preformed excellently. It heats quickly and retains good heat, cleanup was easy and pan did not show heat discoloration or any distortion. My only wish is a slightly longer handle. An excellent item, that preformed well under difficult conditions

Great pan for cast iron lovers
My fiance and I decided to replace some of our cookware with cast iron, and a sale on this pan prompted the purchase. Yes, the pan is heavy; having owned cast iron before and given the size, I expected it. Maintenance is a breeze. Again, having owned cast iron before I know what I am doing. Cooking is a breeze, cleanup is a snap as long as it is done right away. Towel-drying is a must. Food tastes great. Nothing compares to cast iron.

Terrific Pan
I have been wanting to purchase an iron skillet for years and just never did. I finally saw this pan on Great Offer Stock and being it seemed to get good reviews I purchased it. This has turned into my favorite skillet. You do have to season it some more before you really get to enjoy the way cast iron cooks. I seasoned it with a little oil after each use and also followed someone's recommendation to bake bacon in it in the oven. I made my meatballs which I lightly brown and they came out fantastic- no sticking. Made homefries the other night and also came out great. Considering purchasing another one.

Lodge makes a great product
I own a 10" Lodge cast iron skillet, a Lodge Dutch Oven and a Lodge griddle. I absolutely love all of them. I can't wait to put this 12" skillet in my smoker to cook spuds, veggies, and sear meat!
