we needed these fixtures to stage a house for sale; they turned out fine for that purpose, gave lots of light, were a good size, and the glass is attractive/does not show the light bulbs through it; the metal frame that mounts to the ceiling and holds the glass is very thin and "bendable", like a soda can, thin; so if you want something more durable, this won't be the fixture for you. BUT, it looks fine for our purposes and was an excellent price.
