The colors are rustic, but the style is refined, exactly what I was looking for as we change all of our fixtures to oil rubbed bronze. It is hung in our main level hallway where the coat closet is. The lighting is perfectly adequate even with the frosted glass cover plate. I was concerned it would be too much or not enough since most of the lighting in our home is Edison bulbs. This is a perfectly 'Transitional' light fixture. The style/colors, size, and price of this fixture met my criteria perfectly. I wanted ORB, but with a linen colored shade; It had to be a certain height for our 8' ceilings and my 6' 7" family member, it had to be a certain width for the hallway, and of course it had to fit the budget. I love looking at it everyday with our "Alabaster" walls, "Peppercorn" closet doors, dark planed hard wood floors and wheat colored, waffle textured, (sisal looking) runner. Perfection!
