fairly sturdy , 20 min to assemble 2 stools . seat is more flat than some, which was expected. Can serve as small table if desired. Good deal for the price

I bought this set because it matched our dining table and we needed 2 more. They arrived in great shape and fast.

Very sturdy, love the wide seat

I hesitated to buy these based on previous reviews that the seat was very flat and thus slightly uncomfortable. The seat is flatter than a typical stool of this style but we do not find them to be uncomfortable. What I do love is that they are deeper than other versions I've found so I find they are actually more comfortable. Assembly was easy, color is beautiful, very sturdy.

The wood looks nice, although it is more red than expected. I wish I had seen the review mentioning the almost flat seat before ordering... it is very flat compared to others I've seen, and doesn't feel comfortable to me or my kids. It is also much more squat than expected (I did check all measurements first) and doesn't look right at a standard height counter. It needs to be just a couple inches taller. And the base is very square, missing the angles that are trademark of this style of stool. Overall, we were impressed with the quality but the design left a lot to be desired, and we will be returning these.

This stool is very solid. Seat is almost flat, and the height is slightly higher because the seat doesn't dip in the middle - so if you have short legs, that could be a problem. It would have been nice if the legs had plastic feet, so they don't scrape, but I added stick on felt pads and that helps a lot. All in all the stool looks and feels better than what you would expect for the cost.

These barstools have a larger seat than most saddle type barstools - and they're flatter. They make a better table (or night stand) than barstool.

These are very sturdy stools. Easy to assemble. The quality is much higher than expected. These look like they came from Pottery Barn. Would highly recommend!

Solid wooden stool, a great piece of furniture. Size enables it to tuck under the island when not in use. Construction is solid, maybe not rocket ship perfect on all bolt alignments for legs but the manageable. The fact that it is bolt together should say a lot for how study it is. These are built like end tables and heavy. Bought one to try and immediately ordered the remaining three I needed to complete the set. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great little seat for small areas.

This is a very nice, elegant bar stool. It is a very good quality.
