Looks nice, good value (buy complete bed!) We first mistakenly ordered just the headboard, thinking the footboard was included. Great Offer Stock let us ship it back for free. Great customer service! We then ordered the complete bed that includes head/foot boards, side rails and cross rails to support the box spring. There are lots of screws but it went together easily in about 90 minutes; no missing parts. It looks great, feels solid and we are happy with the quality.

Pretty!! Lovely . Excellent Value for the money and very stable. Ordered Sunday. Processed/Shipped Monday. Arrived Tuesday! I wanted something Pretty but not overly foofoo. Matched all the bolts/washers.. and quickly zipped it together, all tools I needed and parts were included in the box(3 boxes). Light enough for me to move easily into place! Really like how the rails "box" in the mattress.. my last frame constantly dumped the mattress on the floor lol. Bottom of the box springs sits 8 inches off the floor.

Everything I expected...and more! The bed is absolutely beautiful! We love it! My husbandd recently had back surgery and our old mattresses just wasn't cutting it, so we decided to buy a new mattress. We also decide to downgrade from a king to a queen, so we needed a new bed. It arrived in two different shipments, but within the scheduled delivery date. And, as with most of the reviews I read, the boxes were pretty tore up, but I received all of the hardware. We unpacked each box one at a time and found the bed had been packaged adequately. We were surprised, yet happy, that there were 3 metal slats that attach to the rails and that each had feet to attach to them. This adds extra support (7 total) to take on and distribute weight. We were also happy to find out that each post and rail foot came with a padded bottom so we did not have to add anything to provide scratch protection for our hardwood floors. The posts are metal, along with the rest of the bed, I knew this going in, but they look like wood. My husband and I layed out each piece, and everything was there. It took us about 30 minutes to get it put together. Once it was up, it was awesome. I measured the distance from the box spring to the floor and it is 9". I mention this because no where I looked could I find this measurement. To me, this is important when deciding to get a regular box spring or low profile, and for the overall distance of your bed to the floor. Because I didn't know this measurement, we ordered a normal box spring which sets our bed 30" off the ground. This okay, and I will get used to it, but really higher than it would have liked. This is our primary bed, we sleep in it every night, and it is very sturdy. Overall, the bed is beautiful, well-made, and we are very happy with it!

Great Bed Frame Love the bed frame. The only problem we had was that it arrived without assembly instructions. A call to customer service solved that and we had the instructions e-mailed to us in a few days. I believe the only reason it took that long was because it was over a holiday weekend. Good choice, worth the price & more Bed arrived in 3 boxes. All 3 had damage with one box being torn fully open. We were shocked to find all the parts still in the boxes! The bed is lovely, a nice centerpiece in a small room. It took my husband about 2 hours to put it together. A bolt was missing from a packaged set, but he found a replacement. The metal slats that attach to the support frame make the bed very sturdy. So far, no squeaks - or maybe the guests aren't telling me!

A foundation will add height to your mattress, so if it is currently too low, that's a good option. A bunkie board won't add additional height, so if you are already happy with the height, we recommend that.

But, then we had to tie the end of the bed together, with a rope-(hidden under the bedskirt).🙄 It's is beautiful, with the scroll work on the head & foot boards❣❣ Probably a better fit for a Newer, rounded, thicker mattress!! We have a Cool Max Gel square-ish mattress. More compact... Maybe You can come up with a better setup?? If you do, please post it!! With Much Appreciation!!😬 Emperez

The Only problem; is that the boxspring-(with mattress on top, slides All over the place n the king frame. The king frame is massive; so we took the rails totally out @ put the boxspring & mattress on the floor, inside the frame. It lowered the bed substantially & it's very easy to get into now & make up the bed! The bed skirt barely hits the floor, all around the boxspring, so it's perfect!! Just another possible idea. We did have to use a thin rope to hold the two sides of the bed frame together, at the end; but the bed skirt covers it. This is temporary, until we figure out a better way... It is a gorgeous Bed!!!!!! Emperez

When I bought mine I was searching in the platform bed category... It wasnt what I wanted but we decided to keep it and use a standard size. The top of the side rail rises to about the middle of the box spring. Hope that helps. It is very beautiful btw.

I would suggest a low profile box spring. We have standard with a deep mattress, and I find that it is higher than my previous bed, so I am guessing that the frame is higher off the floor than our last one. Also, with mine, I cannot see the footboard at all. I still have my other bed and am thinking about switching back, just for this reason.

It has Only 3 railings across the bottom, so yes you would need a box spring. Also; the headboard scrolls go quite high, so you would really want a box spring & a fairly thick mattress. My hubby & I are Medium Fluffy😬 & it still holds Us Both, Very Well! I think it's Very Pretty, too. I actually put the box spring on the floor now; since the frame is huge, length-wise & width!! The king box spring at 78" X 80"; was swiming all over, on the 3 rails!! However; with no rails, the end scroll had to be tied to the side rails. The cross rails are the Only thing that holds the end of the bed, together?? Little weird things, You Will want to know!! I have the box-spring-(on the floor); a 10.5 mattress on that, with a 4 inch cool-gel topper!! Heavenly❣❣ Buyer beware of these weird two things... I suppose you could put 2" X 2" boards; on either side of your box-spring, to keep it from sliding side to side. But for front to rear sliding of the box spring, I have no idea's... Mine works fine, on the floor!! Mrs Perez
