Love This Bed!! I was down to two choices on a bed, and my husband voted for this one. It is gorgeous! One year old now, and just like new! I would just caution to make sure you are using a box spring under the mattress. We used a platform instead, and there is a gap between the mattress and the bottom of the backrest big enough for the pillows to fall through. This would not be an issue if the mattress was maybe 4 inches higher.

Great bed This bed is huge, and beautiful! It was easy to put together and fantastic quality wood. The only thing I am worried about is the supports underneath. Make sure that you do not have the adjusters too high on the middle feet or they will pop out from under you (you'll know what I mean when you buy it). We just lowered them and put them back under the bed and it slept just fine. It was packed great, and arrived super fast. This is definitely the best bed I could find for the price.

Nice sleigh bed for a great price This is a wonderful king sleigh bed. In this price range most stores offer beds in cheap stained pine, but this is real wood. Absolutely no flaws in the cherry finish. The bed itself was packed with care with several layers of foam and plastic wrapped around the individual pieces. The directions were clear and easy to follow. The three boxes the bed came in were heavy, which made it a little difficult to maneuver in my bedroom, but I was able to assemble it myself in very little time. Once I leaned the standing headboard against a wall, I placed pillows under each side rail to make the adjoining parts easier to assemble. There was one small goof in the parts. The person who fabricated the three stretcher boards installed the wrong size t-nuts for the six legs to screw in. They should have been 8mm; instead they were a size smaller that would not fit the legs. A trip to the hardware store to get the correctly-sized t-nuts solved that, and the bed install was completed. I'd highly recommend this bed to others.

Beautiful Sleigh This bed is more beautiful in person than on screen. I was a little Leary about ordering a bed from online, but after this purchases I will definitely order more furniture. Its solid wood with beautiful detail. Very easy to assemble. It is very heavy so you will need someone to help you carry it.

Build yourself a better support underneath I absolutely love, love, love the look of this bed. So rich and beautiful--people can't believe I didn't pay a fortune for it. The one thing that isn't so great is the support system under the mattresses--very thin , flimsy slats. Mine broke pretty quickly. I had read that they were weak in other reviews and meant to reinforce them when I first set the bed up, but kind of forgot and was in a hurry to get it done so we could sleep in it. About a month later one of the slats broke. Husband is kind of a big guy, but this should have held up better. We built a support from from 2x4s that sits inside the frame and got rid of the slates entirely. Not a big deal--an hour or two and *** worth of wood. I still think this is a great deal, as similar beds cost triple elsewhere.

Headboard is beautiful, but bed needs spring box The Q&A says it doesn't need any spring box, which is wrong info. You definitely need one. Otherwise the bed will be too low and the frame won't be strong enough to support the mattress anyway. And the bed itself has some chips off, I think it's due to the shipping. Considering the price, I am going to keep it.

We have an iLe. We removed the slats and the mattress fit perfectly. There is about 2 inches of extra space at either the head or foot of the bed depending on how you place the mattress. We preferred closer to the headboard. The fitted sheet also fits in place with no problem. The furniture is beautiful. Our family and friends have all commented on it.

The side rails are 82 inches long.

I measured the assembled bed and these are the measurements I found: the side rails by themselves are 89 inches with the footboard and headboard attached. The headboard curve adds the 5.75"to the overall length of the bed. So the overall space needed for the assembled bed is the 94.75. Hope this helps.

I can't guarantee that it will work, because I don't know the measurements involved. What I can tell you is this: when we purchased this gorgeous bed, we bought a frame that sits on the floor for the mattress to sit on, rather than a box spring that would sit on the cross pieces. The difference in height is 7 or 8 inches lower. That left us with a substantial opening between the headboard and the mattress - big enough that the pillows fall though sometimes. If your bed frame is low enough, this might be an advantage for you, as there will be room for the head of the mattress to move up without hitting the headboard. Good luck!
