I bought the 10" FIRM gel memory foam LUCID mattress and after lots of online and personal research I wanted to write a review for the LUCID COMFORT COLLECTION 10-INCH LUXURY GEL MEMORY FOAM MATTRESS with the FIRM option, since there are no reviews that i could find for the firm mattress option. Coming from someone who has only ever slept on tempur-pedic and casper this is my personal opinionated review; My thoughts after reading reviews: I was nervous after completing my purchase for the FIRM mattress because the online reviews showed only the MEDIUM FIRM mattress in review and the opinion's of those individual's were that the MEDIUM FIRM mattress was TOO FIRM. I, then, was expecting a rock-hard mattress with little sink (the soft, settling feeling you expect from a foam mattress). Thoughts after arrival and unpacking: Arrived in two days. LUCID includes a plastic tool to help open the shrink wrapped mattress without damaging the mattress; this was unexpected, welcomed, AND useful. The mattress comes folded in half (horizontally) and rolled up inside a box that weights about 45 american pounds. I was concerned that the half fold would create an issue with the spring-back effect that happens when you buy a mattress-in-a-box (some reviews had reported an "un-even" rise in new mattresses). I had no issues with the rebound or rise of the new mattress. Keep in mind that these foam mattresses are sensitive to heat, cold, sun, shade, air.., the best way to acclimate your foam mattress is to give it air, space, and non-direct sunlight. The mattress expanded to 8" without delay and the mattress, as advertised, was ready for immediate use. However, I AM expecting a full 10inches of mattress expansion within a few days. (you should expect some time, 3 - 30 days based on manufacturer between delivery and full realization of foam.) Thoughts after first night sleep: If this is your first foam mattress, you need 30 days of sleeping on a foam mattress (in my opinion) to make a sound judgement. My transition from springs to foam took 30 full days. In the first 30 days of a my first foam mattress (which was tempur-pedic), my body felt stiff. Unless your new lucid mattress is defective, here is what you can expect (from my personal consumer standpoint): First night's sleep: If you are fed up with your current mattress, then your first day on this Lucid will have been a long time coming. The two days you will wait for the mattress to arrive will have been two days too long... Your first "starfish" on your brand new Lucid mattress will imbed a memory of total surrender. Price Vs. Value: Lucid is very competitive, meaning for the price it will be very difficult to find a better product. In my household we have two queen size mattresses, one cost $***** (catalogue brand) and one cost $**** (Lucid); If you want to make the person who spent ****** dollars on their mattress jealous, buy the lucid. I CHOSE: FIRM MATTRESS: If you like firm, THIS WILL WORK FOR YOU, do not be hesitant. This FIRM mattress compares to the firmness of a standard tempur-pedic. I would PERSONALLY consider this FIRM mattress a STANDARD FIRM. You will sink about 3-4 inches and the mattress will provide a comfortable amount of cushion around your body. ( I am 37 years old and 155 lb. active male) Thoughts to consider: 1. if you sleep on the edge of your bed because you share the bed, consider buying a size up, the edge will no support you for long-term use. 2. On average, you'll keep a mattress any where from 3 to 10 years. Consider this a long term investment. Sleep around, mattress wise, you'll be more informed and glad you did. Apples to apples comparison: *this is my personal experience with foam mattresses: 1. unless you are sleeping side by side with other "brand-name" foam mattress brands you, most likely, won't be able to discern the difference. trust me. 2. Personally, I may never consider purchasing any other mattress other than LUCID if they consistently remain competitive with other "leading/top/brand name" mattress-in-a-box companies. 3. Weight of mattress depends on mattress foam(s) density. There is a recognizable difference between the weight of a LUCID and the weight of a tempur-pedic. Also, gel-memory foam keeps its elasticity longer than non-gel memory foam. Be sure to know what materials the mattress is/are made of/from especially when considering the length of time, duration and/or amount of use (months or years) you plan to get from the mattress. TIP: always be thinking long-term when it comes to mattress purchases.

This is the mattress description: Full: 54 inches wide x 75 inches long x 10 inches thick None of the dimensions match, i’ve let the mattress breath for 72 hours and all I have is an ill fitting lumpy mattress that I cannot return. I will not buy another mattress from Great Offer Stock, I recommend you don’t either .

Lucid 10 inch medium firm memory foam
No smell, but because I have gotten the full size, I put on the box spring and took 4 hours to reach 10 inches,the best sleep I've had in over a decade! !!I'm a retired letter carrier, and had a neck fusion, C4,C5,C6 fusion after being attacked by rotwiller 10 years ago, have to use memory foam pillows from *** can never sleep on my tummy again, so 1 pillow at my knees to take pressure of lower back and one on the side to not lay on stomach, so someone suggested this mattress, at Great Offer Stock and glad I did I'm a female 150 pounds barely sunk 3 inches, never moved all night, so it's for the guest room, and immediately ordered the kingsize firm,slumber solutions for our master bedroom, my hubby has a injured back from Air Force, and needs the firm, can't wait for it to arrive, my guests will never want to go home,or visit more often!!thanks Great Offer Stock and when one of you gets up the other one can't tell MOtion

I was worried about ordering a mattress online. Never done it. Reviews were a mix of good and bad, people either loving or hating it. I decided to take the risk bc the deal was too good to pass up and I am so happy with my purchase! Shipped great, came a day earlier then expected. Rolled out like a fruit roll up perfectly onto my platform bed frame. Expanded to the full 10 inches in 6 hours. And I just woke up from sleeping on it for the first time and it felt like a dream! This one was medium plush and it was a great decision, I like softer beds. However they also have a medium firm one, I would suggest that if u want a bit of a tougher one. All in all it’s was definitely worth the money!

It matched what I saw online. Ordered the frame as well, but it is one week away due to shipping. My son used it immediately upon unboxing - we were a little skeptical when we initially saw it in its vacuum packed state, but were pleasantly surprised when we got the tape off.

Yes, it comes in a box via UPS. The box was scuffed and one end had a broken seam, though the mattress inside was well wrapped in thick plastic and safe from harm. You will have to let it air after unwrapping it as it had a mild odor. It took 2 days to air it out inside my house. Might be faster if you put it in the sun during the day.
