Lightweight, easy to carry up the stairs. I had contractor install into remodeled bathroom so I can't speak to that other than he needed access to the floor/ceiling below, which I believe is typical. Tub itself is good looking and being 3 foot wide, gives you a little extra width than a typical tub.
