KitchenAid is the best mixers that's all I will ever have and this one I love it

Love my new mixer. It is really powerful. I have 2 other kitchenaid mixers. But this one is truly the best.

I bought this as a wedding gift for my niece, but I have the smaller 5 quart artisan kitchen aid stand mixer. I took up cake decorating several years ago in anticipation of the day she did get married. I knew I would be making her wedding cake, everything from the fondant, to the gum paste, to the royal icing, from scratch. My husband bought me the 5 quart several years ago as a Christmas gift as I would never spend the money, as I am on a limited income. However, having said that, I couldn't live without that mixer now having owned it, and used it. It has made my life baking so much easier. My only regret is that I didn't get the 6 quart larger size as this would allow me to do larger batches of SM buttercream. She makes cookies at Christmas as gifts. She was thrilled to get this mixer especially after I told her it will do 2 batches of cookie mix at a time. But what I think surprised her most was the color. It was the perfect shade of pink. This is a great mixer for the money. It arrived on time, no damage and has worked well every time we go to use it. Highly recommend.

For those not acquainted with that term, it is not food. Lickity-split means really fast. Instructions for making Miracle Fruitcake included boiling a mixture of brown sugar, dates, raisins, water, and butter for several minutes. Then that is to be transferred to a metal bowl and allowed to cool. If it does not cool enough you could cook the next ingredient to be added next, eggs. So I put the boiling hot mixture into the mixer bowl and put that in a ice-water bath till it was sufficiently cool, then I was able to add the eggs and a few more ingredients. while that mixed I measured out the flour and spices, baking soda and baking powder. Then those ingredients were poured down the chute into the bowl with the mixer on speed 1. After that went in the candied fruit mix and the nuts, on speed 1. With this mixer I was able to have ready batter in about a third the time it used to take. If you aren't familiar with production rate increases you might be cutting yourself short of the capabilities of this machine. This is a time saving machine par excellence. It reminds me of working in a commercial kitchen, though I would not try to mix a batch of 30 dozen chocolate chip cookies at once in this 6 Qt bowl. This pink unit came with the three basic beaters and the pouring shield. Fits on the counter top under the wall cabinet just fine. I bought this to upgrade from the 4.5 Qt tilt head we had used for the last 39 years. That old tilt-head unit got a good cleaning and new grease and changed from Harvest Gold to Red for our daughter. These things are built to last several generations.

It's every thing and more....I love the pink....I bought this cause my mom had one when I was small and she helped with a bakery.....so I'm carring on moms cooking.

I think this is hard to handle compared to the Artisian which is easy to lift up when you need to scrape bowl or take the bowl and attachments out.

This mixer is a great new addition to my kitchen. I love the pink color and it's just the right shade for me. So far I have made cheesecake, cookies, and mashed potatoes using the mixer and it did amazing with all three. It mixed everything up with no problem. The soft start feature is helpful so you don't get a big puff of flour when adding dry ingredients. The shield provided with the chute for adding ingredients is a little tricky for adding things, but if you have a mixing bowl or cup with a spout on the side it makes it easier. Overall I couldn't be happier with this mixer! It looks so pretty on the countertop and mixes everything thoroughly. I love it!

I have always wanted a kitchenaid mixer. I finally just purchased one! It works like a dream! I use it all of the time cooking. My son loves it too! Definitely a great purchase and addition to my kitchen.

I looked at all of the mixers on the site and picked the 6-quart Pro 600 Bowl Lift Stand Mixer (light pink). At first I thought about getting the raspberry colored mixer, but thought the color would become dated after a year or two. The light pink will remain timeless (for me anyway). This mixer has a larger motor and a larger mixing bowl, which is perfect for making bigger batches of cookies. I am completely thrilled with the mixer and the price was incredible as well. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a heavy duty mixer who is into baking large quantities of goods.
