Artisan & Pro 600 Cloth Cover: Necessary Accessory
This cover is one of the best accessories that KitchenAid 5- and 6-quart stand mixer buyers can purchase. It is very thick, well-made, and I am very happy that I bought it, (I now have 2)! I already have this same cover (in the same color, black) for my smaller, slightly shorter tilt-head Artisan with 5-quart bowl, and it fits BOTH the Artisan and my slightly taller and wider (because of the lift lever) bowl-lift Pro 600 6-quart bowl. My Pro 600, though, is slightly taller than my Artisan, so the hem of the cover doesn't exactly touch the counter. To remedy this, I am stretching it to be longer by placing the paddle and dough hook in the pocket. (I bought both of my KA stand mixers from Great Offer Stock. Both are pristine, came at an excellent price, had coupons, and free shipping.) I will wash both covers by hand in cold water and line dry them, so that they do not shrink. Both of my stand mixers look great on my white counter. An extra perk is that I bought both of my covers on sale, and they are placed on my machines to keep them clean when I am not using them. This is an important item to have.

This is great quality but it is about an inch and a half too short for my KitchenAid mixer.

This doesn't fit the 6 Quart very well
I had read the reviews and people said that it fit the 6 quart mixer and it is short.

It is nice and made well but doesn't come to the bottom of the mixer and cover all of it. That's a disappointment for me.

Purchasing the cover was the best thing for the mixer. The mixer stands tall and having the cover allows it to sit on the counter and prevents my husband for using the bowl as a mail catcher.
