What a joy - my first new hand mixer in years. I have the stand mixer and knew when I needed a new hand mixer that KitchenAid would be my choice. Very powerful, excellent attachments with a handy pouch to store them in, vivid red color, and everything I wanted it to be.

Perfect for mixing cakes and cookies. I have not used it on real thick dough.

I love this hand mixer. I have a stand KitchenAid but don't always need to use it. I have had a KitchenAid mixer in the past and used it for several years until it died. So, I did the wrong thing and purchased another hand mixer, which was not KitchenAid and I certainly regretted it. So, I asked for this for Christmas, but, of course, I've already been using it. It is awesome. The attachments are great too, especially the whisk. I can use it to whip cream without having to pull out my large, heavy stand mixer. This mixer has great speed and is so easy to operate. You can't go wrong with this mixer. I highly recommend purchasing this model.
