Great bed, and a few things you should know.
We recently ordered this bed for our two year old. The fact that it has two adjustable heights appealed to me because I could save money and NOT buy a box spring AND could put storage boxes underneath.
Arrived in good condition; NO missing parts.
Very easy to assemble, although I got stuck at step one (you can SKIP that step because you're going to have to take those bolts right back out, I was stuck because I seriously thought I was doing something wrong). Aside from that hiccup, the rest was a breeze, even with a two year old "helping." You don't even need any of your own tools :)
The overall quality is decent. This isn't a heavy, solid iron bed; the tubes are hollow with SOME gaps around places the bars connect. Still though, it seems sturdy enough to last through our toddler. On the bright side, hollow tubes will make it easier to move/clean under. The metal has a slightly hammered finish as well.
Now something that will matter to at least one other person than myself out there: there are supports under the bed, so if you plan on having boxes under there, they musn't be too wide. Because going to get exact measurements at this hour would wake my little girl and trigger WW3 in my household, a good rule of thumb would be to divide the bed lengthwise into quarters and to not get boxes larger than the quarters, IF you must get them ahead of time. I'm speaking from experience so that you do not have to go quietly curse in the corner as I did because your boxes won't fit and you lost the receipt, while your toddler jumps enthusiastically on her new bed.
