Read MoreEasy to install looks great on the window and fits a standard size window to that size very happy with my purchase
Read MoreThese are darker, warmer color, look classic and expensive! I loved them in my living room so much i ordered more for kitchen/dining!! I installed myself with a screw gun~no brainer!
Read MoreSo much better than expected
Read MoreThese shades look fabulous in out meditation room and the hardware is of excellent quality - better than that of Home Depot or Lowes. We are very pleased.
Read MoreI bought these for my husbands home office. They are perfect. They really made the room complete. Great product.
Read MoreI'm mostly satisfied with my order. The shades are a lovely dark color just as pictured. They are quite glossy though, which I wasn't expecting. The are cut to size on ordering and the edges are frayed in sections where the bamboo is held together. Not a deal breaker for me but I had to clean up loose strings hanging on both sides. The quality seems fair. They go up fairly easy, not super smoothly but okay. Hoping the hardware holds up bc they are heavy. I would buy them again.
Read MoreI absolutely love my new Java Vintage Bamboo Shades, my only problem or complaint is that when they are rolled up part ways, they are SO heavy that they pull on both sides even though we hung them with the three plates ànd screws. Too bad they weren't alittle shorter or i mean too bad there isn'' an ooptio to buy shorter blinds, especially if you have a smaller window, say in the barhroom. Maybe i should have bought the little matchstick blinds but i love the warm color of the Java Vintage Bamboo Shades and they are made very well and have a real presence in the room. Your eyes go right to them. I love them and they were a great buy. Thanks !
Read Moreonly down side is there isn't much to the instructions. Little bit of trial and error but it's not that hard to figure out
Read MoreI ordered 18 inch and received shades 17 1/4 " wide. So I have almost a 1/2" gap on each side allowing in light. They are also a bit cumbersome to raise and lower.
Read MoreLook great in my sun room.
Read MoreThese shades look beautiful. They are not a shade for privacy but do reduce the glare from the sun.
Read MoreLove these shades, have them all over my housr
Read MoreWe've done our entire house in these shades and we love them.
Read MoreThis product is of good quality.
Read MoreThe blinds have a red tint in the picture but they're truly brown with black specks. One of mine came defective but I'm keeping anyways. They're a little bit of a pain to install because a screw is already attached to the bracket (hard to get your drill around it to do the other screws). Also the extra bamboo they provide to cover the sides would be very difficult to attach (super glue didn't work for me) and they're longer than the front valance so it looks goofy anyways. I skipped this part since it's not really noticeable to see the tiny wood strip on the sides. However, the end result is beautiful and highly versatile as far as design goes if the little things don't bother you too much.
Read MorePaid twice as much at online specialty store for others, and although those were custom at exact length and width, those also took 2+ weeks to get instead of 2 days for these. The Java color is really pretty - was afraid from one of the reviews that it would be purply-y brown, but it isn't at all - just a nice mixture of rich, warm medium with a little dark brown. I'll pass on now what I've learned so others may benefit :): The space between each slat is about 1/4 inch wide with a really thin diameter round "rod" in the middle, so these shades block much more of the view looking out than I'd like. The others I bought have about 5/8" between the slats with 3 tiny diameter rods in between each one, and that opens up the view so much better so you can appreciate the view outside - still without being able to see in at all (during the day). So if you have a pretty view you want to still be able to see somewhat (while the shades are down), these wouldn't be my first choice. But either kind gives you TOTAL privacy during the day, and the sun/light filtering through each of them is beautiful. Also, now that I have both in different parts of the house, I personally think the filtered light coming in as well as the view out is a little prettier through the lighter to medium colored shades than the medium to dark ones like these. But the Java ones fit the decor better in the room I wanted them for and they're still beautiful!
