My daughter and son in law are very please with this mattress. It's very comfortable comparable to much higher priced mattresses. Too soon to voice durability but it's for the guest room sl it should be great

First off, I am a geniune human customer - not a robot - not a paid reviewer. I say this because it really makes me wonder why so many would endorse this product and make claims as to its soft comfort. Facts I think you might consider...I am 5'4" 140 lbs top heavy , side and back sleeper 46 years old with neck pains and hip pains. Husband is 6'2" 190 lbs top heavy, side and back sleeper 49 years old with lower back pains. We placed this memory foam mattress atop our existing bed frame and box springs King set. We bought this mattress to replace an innerspring pillow top that was no longer giving us support and adding to our aches. We paid around $1200 for that mattress. Not pleased with that investment and its longevity, we decided to try an inexpensive memory foam mattress, hence this purchase. I like a softer bed that cradles me and husband prefers something firmer. Thought we might both be happy with this foam mattress with its support and plushness. We are not. It is way too firm with little give for us both. Definitely not helping with my hip and neck pain and I can hardly bare to be on my side in this bed. It hurts my shoulders terribly. Husband is not much of a complainer but he states that it is too firm and we need something softer for the top. I'm wondering if the gel plays a part in the firmness as I do not find it very conforming and in no way plush. On the plus side, the mattress arrived quickly. It expanded immediately. There was absolutely no odor whatsoever. The mattress is of a higher quality than I would have expected at this price point. I feel zero heat while I attempt to sleep. Watch what you buy. My research tells me that Polyurethane foam is not memory foam, it is typical egg crate foam and used for furniture installations and fillers for mattresses. Visco elastic polyurethane as well as memory foam are conforming true memory foam. Gel infused memory foam is different from conforming memory foam. Also watch...many manufacturers put different labels on the same products. You could get certain products much cheaper if you take time to investigate. I'm looking for a true and basic memory foam topper in hopes it will help make this mattress useable for us. Do not purchase if you want something plush and conforming. In retrospect, I would have purchased differently and gone with a less dense non-gel memory foam mattress...maybe even something with layers but I was afraid of the heat people complain about. This might be good for heavier and/or larger people with its tremendous support and firmness but not for us. Wish I could have rated it better due to its quality, but it's just that hard.

This was definitely a good deal for a king mattress. It's softer then other memory foam mattress but still good. Basically if u like a soft bed it's great if u want a more firm then this isn't the bed for u

I was hoping for something just half decent for a spare bedroom. What I ended up with has replaced my mattress in my main bedroom. Its a little on the soft side (I usually prefer a little more firmness), but its incredibly comfortable. I'm very happy with my purchase...

Mattress is very firm, not as cushioned as id hoped a gel mattress would have been.

Bought for vacation cabin. One fifth cost of one in home and no discernable difference in quality. Don't hesitate.

Is that a word? The mattress was affordable and is just as comfortable as though 2,000.00 mattresses! Save your money and buy one of these! I had back problems from my previous orthopedic sealy mattress and this mattress resolved my back issues! I don't usually take the time to complete this surveys, but this is one rare time that I knew it was worthy of an excellent review! The only con I can even think of would be that it's a bit hot, but that could be due to our waterproof mattress pad. Hope this helps you decide...-randy

I find it very comfortable,back and leg issues are resolved, no more pains, my husband, though, finds it a little too soft.

I have been sleeping on this bed a little more than a week and am not happy at all. I have back problems and need a firm but yielding surface that does not sag beneath me. In this amount of time i am already noticing quick sagging under my midsection and causing my back to bow under me. If i lay on my side or stomach the same thing happens. My back hurts when i wake up. Wish i could trade with someone who hates firmer beds. I can't return this now and it is going to be a pain to sell.

First, I'm a big Guy,6'1" and 420 lbs and my wife is around 190 lbs, we've had this bed for a month now and love it!!!!The first 2 nights I was sore a bit but after that it's perfect!!! A bit firmer over all but fits your body.
