product is good quality, sturdy.

It's nice that it's a half moon design, but it does tip over in the wind. I put a rug over it with a sturdy bistro set and that did the trick.

fits right against the house

Very heavy to hold half umbrella sturdy without blowing it from side to side. Fits up against the house so the half umbrella opens nicely to shade my conversation seating area.

Somewhat flexible. Looks good and went with my furniture. Heavy duty and fit against wall.

well made and durable it certainly won't blow away

the base is not very stable and i would like to return both except our building threw away one box. I will address sending back the least stable of the two.

Works well with half umbrella. Could be heavier which would help stability.

perfect with the 1/82 umbrella ... a little light has tipped a few time so i added a piece of metal underneath... works perfectly...

I wasn't sure about this base as it didn't seem very heavy. But it has nicely held down our 9-ft half round patio umbrella, even during stiff gusts.

I use it on my Patio & it does the job. Not sure if we get some wind if it hold up. Will see.

Unfortunately the half round did not perform to my expectations. Even the slightest breeze has the umbrella and the base rocking. With all of that movement, the screw holding the pole in place loosens so I am constantly checking it. Live and learn.

Don't waste your money. Cheap plastic insert will not keep umbrella secure in winds above 5mph.

This was a great stand just did not need it

We purchased the half umbrella and half base thinking this was a really neat way to have a shady umbrella near our patio overhang. The umbrella is fine, but the half base is a terrible engineering idea and has failed miserably. The lack of weight on one side means this EASILY tips over in the slightest breeze. More than likely you have the space, if there is an overhang, for a FULL size round base with your half umbrella. Do yourself a favor and buy the round base and not the half round base. The half base doesn't do what it is supposed to do - which is be a heavy weight so your umbrella doesn't tip over. This was a waste of money.

Seems sturdy. Easy to set up.

Got this for my husband to put over grill. It provides shade for that side of the deck!

It does the job! Have had up to 45 mi hour rain and wind storms , the base stayed in place. looks very classy, due to finish

Bought this half moon shaped umbrella base for my front porch, along with the half umbrella, both from OS. Great price, built solid, and is perfect for a tight space. Gotta love OS for making my place look spectacular!
