got all amped and excited to use my new carpet cleaner! vaccuumed real well, moved my furniture.. it worked for Id say 5 minutes before it stopped sucking, Said it could be clogged in the directions.. did every possible maneuver to unclog. Sending this back I have never had a carpet cleaner clog after the first few minutes.

The tank was leaking. Called Hoover and they were a pain to deal with. Never did make it right.

Works great. This is my second one. Mu first one lasted over 10 years.

I have used it over and over again. cleans great and spill option is fantastic.

I thought it would be great, but it barely picks up. I have to go over it so so many times just to get a clean look and it's still not very clean

The Hoover Steamvac was easy to assemble and a breeze to use. Our hallway was badly soiled and it took all the stains out. It also left the room and carpets smelling great. A great value for the price.

We had a Bissell that conked out and decided to get this Hoover. It did a great job on our filthy area rugs. Very pleased.

Cant say how good or bad it is I have never used it. directions were not the easiest to understand when putting it together which should have been a breeze but it sure wasnt and I am still not sure it is together right.

I have purchased many carpet cleaners and this item is by far the best I have found. I looks heavy however is easy to use and glides across the carpet with ease. The multiple circular brushes underneath do all the work for you. I even put just plain water in the cleaner and the heavy traffic areas were cleaned better than when I got my carpet cleaned professionally. Assembly was very easy and instructions for use are easy to follow. I literally cleaned my carpet while watching a movie, cooked dinner and conducted my homebased business at the same time. The ability of the cleaner to put up residue fluid from the carpet is another feature I like. My carpet did not take long to dry because of it. The detachable parts allowed me to get into corners, knooks and very smaill places that are very difficult with a system that is just one piece. I have 5 grandsons and all are in sports and my carpet gets pretty soiled very fast. They all also have allergies and all of them from ages 5-13 were able to manage the carpet cleaner as well with ease. I had to let them try since they are the reason my carpet needs a lot of attention. LOL I am very happy with the Hoover F5914-900 SteamVac Deep Cleaner with Clean Surge. I have had Bissell steam vacs in the past. I miss the heating aspect but otherwise cleans very well, is easy to operate and I would definitely recommend.
