Great piece, tough assembly This piece is very sturdy and looks fantastic. It was somewhat complicated to assemble because of it's design. It only requires one person but would be easier with two. If assembly were a little bit easier out absolutely give it five stars. I love the piece though.

Attractive stand but difficult assembly First criticism is that the package was missing some of the necessary hardware that was listed as included in the instructions. I'm very careful about unpacking furniture for this exact reason and I'm certain the washers were left out of the hardware package. Second criticism is that this is not your typical "Ikea-like" assembly. You absolutely need at least two people to put it together. I would recommend three. Two people to try to balance all the pieces and screw at the same time and one person to VERY CAREFULLY read the directions since the images are all very similar and the instructions are worded poorly. Third criticism is that almost every single wood panel came out of the package either SCRATCHED or marked. BIG BLACK (unremovable) MARKS on white paint is not fun to find after you've unpacked something this large. There was absolutely no way I could have repacked/carried it anywhere to mail it back so I'll have to try to fix it myself. In all, I wouldn't recommend this product for the price. If it was around $150-200 then sure! I would expect mistakes and sloppy packaging like this. For nearly $500 though I could've purchased furniture from other trusted retailers that I know would never make these kind of mistakes.
