I just want to edit this to say that I looked at these again a few weeks ago Jan 2017) as I was thinking about purchasing another set as a gift, when I noticed that the price went up ten dollars. It is now about three weeks later (Feb 2017) and the price has risen another twenty dollars! Forty seven dollars and change was fine originally, but now they're up to almost seventy three dollars??? *** I would've purchased more if the price hadn't gone up... The product description shouldn't say that these candle holders are good for decorating a Christmas tree as they are 10 and 12 inches tall, and would not be able to decorate a tree in any way. We have them on our mantle as Christmas decor and they are very pretty. (My mantle isn't decorated yet, I've just been throwing things on there as they've come in the mail.) My only complaint is that on the taller one, just under where a candle would sit there is a clear sphere that does not light up like the rest of the candle holder. I'm not sure if it was added to make it taller and thereby doesn't allow for the water and glitter to flow up that high...
I got them in gold, but they are so lovely that we purchased another set in silver and sent them to my in-laws as a Hanukkah gift.
The price is comparable to purchasing two similar light up candle holders on sale at *** by me was sold out, so I'm glad that I found these here. You won't be disappointed with these candle holders : )
