The photos of these Tiffany-style lamps (I bought three different versions) exaggerate the reality of the products received. The assembly is easy, but my experience was the following...
1) The height and elongation of the shades does not match the photos. If I had to guess (being a graphic artist for 17 years), I'd say they took a lot of license in stretching the photos to make them appear taller, and the colors much brighter. In fact, all three are rather squat by design. The Arielle was the most-disappointing as to colors within the glass. The top surrounding accents (everything above the yellow cross-hatch area) is composed of different colors.
2) These seem a bit shorter than I expected, but my ceilings are a bit higher than most.
3) One of the three bases had green felt on the bottom to protect the floor. The other two were bare. All three were packaged in a horrible foam sectional block that spews granular debris all over the place, so be prepared to clean well after assembling.
4) These are operated by a plunger foot-switch. You step down on the button to turn on and off. I've left one of these on several times overnight as an accent light -- and for some reason it will turn off some nights by itself, and stay on at other times.
Do not fool yourself into thinking these are Tiffany quality. The design is "okay" for the price. The pole sections align easily and are heavy-cast. One of the three had a little problem with aligning upright -- you have to play with the adjustment of the sections to change this (there was no "adjustment washer" mentioned on the single-page assembly sheet). The problem with Great Offer Stock is you realize the cost of returning something can be a third of what you paid for the entire item, originally. If you get lucky and like the shade coloring, you'll do okay on these. If not, you'll pay nearly $$$ attempting to return them because of the weight.
