We ordered this rug in both the 8'x11' and 4'x6' sizes. The descriptions are the same, as is the name, but the colors are not exact matches. The background color of smaller rug we received was darker, but nowhere near the rich, gray color of the picture. They still coordinate well enough for our space, even though they're close together. I actually prefer the lighter background of the larger rug. It's prettier, but I think we'll appreciate the darker background of the smaller entry way rug when it rains and the doormat doesn't catch everything. Both rugs shed a lot, which is to be expected from wool. However, these shed considerably more than a similar sized wool rug we ordered from the famous home furniture/decor store with the beautiful catalogs. On sale, that rug's price was comparable to the price of this rug on sale, especially if one waits for their free shipping, but they didn't have the sizes we needed in the pattern we wanted. (I wish they did because the difference in quality and clarity is noticeable - one gets what one pay for.) The colors in the written description are close, but I don't see any ivory in ours. The background colors of the border blend together and there is hardly any contrast. The rug's actual colors are muddy and the pattern blends together and isn't crisp and sharp. Overall, they suit our space and create a neutral canvas that compliments our decor and blends well with our art and glass. I was worried about ordering on-line, but the colors compliment our Shaker Beige and Lenox Tan walls. They would coordinate with gray or any greige, should we ever change our paint scheme. The pets love the rugs. Fortunately, both rugs hide pet fur well. Both feel thick and luxurious under foot. They came packaged well and the curled edge flattened out quickly. If you're looking at pictures of this rug, the photo with the light sofa on it most closely resembles the actual rug. We're pleased with our purchase.
