Package arrived very quickly, in a small, light box, well packed. Fairly easy to assemble, was able to do it alone in about 40 minutes. Would have taken less time, but the quality of the pieces was quite poor - I'd say a level or two below IKEA quality. The poles in between the shelves are easily split and 3 of the shanks within the holes popped out when screwing them together, making the connections very loose, so use care when handling. It says all you need is a Philips head screwdriver, but I would have a wrench (for tightening the screws and/or removing the shanks from the screws if they pop out) and some crazy glue (to re-attach the shanks to the inside of the holes within the poles) handy. I didn't have crazy glue, so mine is a bit loose. The poles/columns don't line up exactly perfectly, but it's not obvious.
Overall, the lamp looks pretty nice, and is much cheaper than similar lamps sold elsewhere. They include these very cheap looking zip ties to attach the wire that hangs from below the bulb, to one of the poles, so that it doesn't appear obvious. As mentioned in another review, you can't see it in the photo (probably photoshopped out or detached), but you can definitely see it on the actual product, which takes away from the clean lines. The material is eggshell/matte, not glossy, and the white is a bright white, although the shade is very slightly off white. You will probably not be able to reassemble this well after disassembling, without crazy glue, so maybe one more time. After that, if you move, it will have to go as one piece.
Overall, it's fairly priced under fifty, only because you can use it as a little shelf. I am using it next to a couch, and may buy another for the guest room next to the bed, to use instead of an end table with a separate lamp on it. Any more than fifty though, would be overpriced for the quality.
