I love this bread box. It is very roomy and keeps the cluttered look off the counter. It was a gift to myself.

Despite the fact I purchased this at the best price on web, it is still too much. They are a bit washed out in the red department. They look dull next time my vibrant red kitchen items. The top is easy (too easy) to open. I would not order them again. I cannot imagine how much the manufacturer makes on this item...must be a gold mine. One positive thing is they hold a lot. I am doing battle with mice and this is most helpful cause the little guys have not figured out how to get into this. I don't have the heart to poison or put them in those horrible mouse traps.

I love this bread box, the color is great and it is very big so you can fit multiple items in it. I read the previous reviews and some said it was a bit cheap so I knew what I was getting and for the price I think it is perfect. There are others out there for more than double the price so if you are looking for a very solid option go more expensive, I am very happy with this item.

Looks great in my mid-century modern kitchen, but is tough to open - it sticks. It would be nicer if it was one-hand operation.

Not a true, pure red, but still works with my other red items and small appliances. I love the shape and size. Lots of compliments.

nice good color a little tinny

I absolutely love this retro style bread box. It's bigger than most bread boxes out there which I needed. I always have the long loafs of sourdough bread and they fit in this with room to spare. In addition to that loaf it holds several more. The fact that is red (my favorite color) makes this even better. It is sturdy and well made. I'm very happy with this purchase.

The bread box fits great on my counter top. Seems sturdy enough to do its job.

Color may be little bit less red then picture, but nice large and pretty addition.
