Wonderful for the price very sturdy.

Poorly made stamped MDF panels are not the worst part of this screen. The toxic fumes are awful. The screen is made in China which means there is little or no oversight of chemical issues with finishes. Great Offer Stock should remove this item from their inventory.

I've had it outside for three weeks now and it's still unbearable. May have to send it back, if they will take it. It's TOXIC. Can't Great Offer Stock tell the vendor to use some other kind of finish? This thing is single-handedly putting holes in the ozone layer.

Solid, well built - love it!

This is a great value at this price. All you need is put it in the garage for two weeks to get the smell out. Then use Pledge wipe it thoroughly for a few times. When you clean out it's smell, it's a beautiful wood panel.

I had read reviews about this product and everyone was dead on. Good product, fair price (once on sale - lower than Mayfair). Everyone mentioned the initial smell of the screen, but most said that it went away within a few days. However, someone spoke of this horrible smell of kerosene and that after three weeks the smell was still there, and "never buy." That was NOT the case. Either that person exaggerated heavily, or their product was unusually smelly. The initial smell is there; you can tell that it's the wood finish. But I only smelled it when within a foot or two from the screen, and it was gone within the next day. I'm glad I read all the reviews carefully. I almost decided against buying this screen and I would've missed out. It is what I wanted.

It's a beautiful screen, but like previous reviewers have said, it reeks of a very strong petroleum-like smell that pollutes the room as well. I initially put the screen outside on the terrace for 3 weeks to air it out. I finally brought it in and the smell was too much. It's been sitting out on the terrace for 3 months now. MAYBE I'll actually be able to use it one day.

I read the other reviews so when i received my shipment i was not surprised by the smell. I would love to know where they store these screens, in a 'gas station'. It had to go outside for at least a week to get the smell out. Other than that i will be ordering another to hide my husband's ugly speakers

I bought 2 of these screens. They are gorgeous, but holy cow do they stink at first. Within about an hour of opening them my entire house smelled like gasoline and I had a headache that I could not get rid of. I moved them outside to the porch for about a week to let the smell wear off. The room adjacent to the porch still smelled. Seriously, these things stink. I thought the other reviewers were exaggerating. They were not. After about a week, I brought them inside and everything is fine. These are really heavy and seem to be good quality. The light looks nice coming through the various shapes in the panels. I think they are unique looking and add a nice finishing touch to my sitting room.

A week and this thing still has paint fumes!!! Looks fine.

This partition is very different and had a old world charm although I felt when you stand it against the wall it seemed crooked. You have to stand this in such a way that it does not look crooked but overall its really pretty. It had a very strong kerosene smell but it will go away eventually.
