Good purchase Love the chair. Arrived well packaged and unbelievably easy to set up! Flattening the box for the trash pick up took more time [haha]. Slightly too big for me and takes extra effort to latch down foot after reclining or would be 5 stars from me.

Great chair, cozy! This chair is perfect! I'm a big guy and it suits me well. It was easy to get in the house. We have narrow stairwells due to the house being built in the 1700s. It comes in the box in 4 pieces that are SUPER easy to assemble. Just slide the wings on the back and slide the back onto the main frame of the chair. It locks in place and can be removed should we need to ever take it out of the house. Unfortunately for me, my wife has already taken it over and is comfortable passed out taking a pregnant day nap! Great chair and free delivery as compared to the local furniture stores that would want the price of the recliner plus $50-$80 for delivery.

Chair Especially for the sale price ,this is a very good value. Firm, but very comfortable. Good for my bad back. Only one thing. I am 6, 4 inches, and this chair will not support my extended legs when in the reclining position. Something I'm learning to live with, but wish it was not so short.

Wrong Color Nice sized chair if you are over weight, easy to put up foot rest, but a little hard to close foot rest if you don't have the strength. Over all good chair and I would recommend it. But they sent me wrong color. I wanted a black chair and got brown. To much trouble to send back for the color.

The chair comes fully assembled. I cant answer about taking it apart, I've never taken this one or any other recliner apart.

It can be taken apart with no damage, reason being, was so simple to put together I did not read insturctions so I just slide it on , I should of put the 2 peices beside the backside so I had to redo mine, simple , beautiful, waiting for price drop will order another one... Very comfy ! Enjoy :)

Yes. they will. I am 6'4". I really don't find it uncomfortable. But, unless I press my back against the back cushion, sometimes, the weight of my legs hanging over will cause the footrest to move down by itself, like I'm trying to put it down to stand up. Wish that mechanism held my legs up better. Also, like getting my dog to sit up by my legs. Not possible. But, I'm a big guy. Only improvement I'd like.

Rick - It's not a handle, it's an indented latch that you pull out the flap and the legs come out rather quickly. Don't have a child/grandchild or the dog in front of the chair when doing this! I really like how the chair supports my back, very comfortable. But, in answer to your locked question, it's the only real issue I have with this chair. Maybe it's because I'm 6'4" and my legs do hang out over the footrest quite a distance. But I do find times when if I don't shift the weight of both legs just right the footrest will start to come down. if our Westie (20 lb dog) jumps up on the footrest with both my legs on it, it goes down right away! I have to move over and have him jump up the the chair portion so he can sit with me w/o having the footrest going down. Still like the chair, just something I figure is not designed for my size.

"How does the chair hold up with dogs and kids?"

I have both a dog (pug) and two kids. I bought this chair a few months ago and so far so good with the wear and no tear. However, the chair itself sits at a funky angle in its natural resting position. It isn't entirely upright so it puts a strain on my neck when I sit in it to watch TV. I don't need a perfect 90 degree angle but it really should be closer to that angle to prevent neck strain. As a result, I don't sit in the chair too often which has been better for the wear and tear (the kids and dog like to sit anywhere Mama is sitting). I hope this is helpful.

Different answer - I have 2 dogs .... I love this chair, its very comfy with back support .... I am in the chair most day and nights including sleeping in the chair overnight, its just that darn comfy and if I dont my pomerainian will sleep on it , We all love our chair... Very durable....
