Midcentury Style - Lacking Quality and Comfort Beautiful Midcentury Style with slim profile. Quality and manufacturing control is lacking. The first chair arrived quickly although the wooden legs were damaged with dents, scratches and finishing scraped. Great Offer Stock quickly shipped a replacement which also arrived with damaged legs. The issue is at the factory level. The packing of the legs, for shipping, was not sufficient. They also attached a bag of bolts to the wooden leg which caused damage. The fabric is very thin and separated from the foam core and buckles after sitting in it for a few hours. Foam core is very stiff. Not a chair that you sink into while putting your feet up to watch a movie. Overall very disappointed with the quality of this beautiful looking chair.

Mid Century Contour chair with ottoman I love the look of this chair, and although the wooden components were not very well-packed, they arrived in good condition. In all other aspects, I agree with CANUCK2012's assessment. I would like to add that the chair has a big black zipper climbing up the entire back, so if you are planning for mid-room placement, this is not the chair for you. I bought the light green, and I have a purple on the way. Live the color choices, and since they will be used only occasionally for company, they suit our purposes, and they ARE lovely looking.

Nice, but not very stable I love everything about this chair, except that the center of gravity is far to the back. It takes just a nudge and it will fall backwards. It's okay if you want it against a wall or if you don't have small kids to knock it over, it's not bad.

The problem is the zipper on the back The photo presents a very attractive chair and from the front it is. But, if you plan to use it where the back will be in plain view beware that there is a zipper that looks like a scar running the full length. Others have noted that the chair is not too comfortable and I agree. Notwithstanding, it came quickly was superbly packaged and easy to assemble.
