Regal splendor For the money, this chair and ottoman are a good match. My only issue is that the chair is much bigger than expected, and the seat cushion so deep that you end up sitting quite high in the chair. It's firm and comfortable, but not exactly cozy. Still, I'm glad I bought it and would recommend it to others.

Great Chair This chair is very comfortable and firm. I have a bad back and hip and this chair makes it easy to sit or rise from which is one of the problems that I have with most chairs. The seat height is perfect and the cushion is firm and stable. The ottoman is just an added bonus which makes this chair very much worth the price. Would certainly recommend this chair and ottoman to any of my friends. Colors are very nice as well. If you want a great chair for a bargain price, this one is for you....enjoy!!

Looked great, but... Initially, I absolutely loved this chair. It looks very nice, and was comfortable. However, within less than 3 weeks of light usage, the seat developed a really unattractive separation of the underlying stuffing. The seat is also attached, which I thought kind of odd, therefore can't be flipped over. So my initial rating of 5 became a 1 or 2. Fortunately, I received a full refund, and customer service was just great about it. I don't know if any other chairs of the same make would do the same thing. It seems that they all would since they are presumably all made with the same materials.

Wonderful chair and ottoman! I bought this in 2009, and I love it more and more. It is elegant and comfortable. It comes fully assembled (exceot for the legs), and looks beautiful. It is somewhat diminutive in stature, which is perfect for my smallish living room. The colors are a little less vivid than the picture online, but I get many compliments on it. I highly recommend it!

To me red and brown are great together. Personally colors in nature are my faves for any room, but especially a den/living room. Example - a brown leather couch with pops of red color, such as throw pillows, a throw on the back of couch, red chair, artwork, like maybe a pic/painting of poppies, a rug w/red in the design, etc. Anything looks good w/brown except neon colors, tho bright red is good (that's my preference.) Warm colors are beautiful mixed together. Cream is great. So is a dusty type blue, or pale yellow. I'm in the process of buying new furniture/decor too. A rich wood wall clock w/red undertones, warm reddish brown tables, some brass decor thrown in. LOL ..sorry to write a novel. The above is what I'm doing, someone else might not like it. It comes down to your personal preference, but yes red is awesome w/brown. I think a brown couch would be beautiful w/this chair. Have fun! : )
