Exceptional value! In the past, I've paid twice this much for a carpet of similar quality.The rug's pile was deeper than I expected and what appears to be color or weave variations in the posted image are actually variations in the depth of the pile: Deeper pile border surrounds a thicker band of shorter pile, and the larger interior section, which appears (on my computer at least) to be a uniform field of a light brown is a tight pattern of small, medium-pile squares on a grid of deeper-pile carpet. Entire rug is a uniform tawny gold, similar to a lion's mane -- not as brown as the image I saw on my monitor.
