I love the look and functionality of these treads. So far, they seem to grip the stained wooden steps.

They are actually better than expected. Very durable and fit perfectly on the steps. I am using them instead of replacing carpet on my steps.. It freshened them up.

Works well on steps. Wish they would come in pack of 7,but will save them for later.

Perhaps I didn't read the description correctly, but I thought that these would be more like actual carpet treads--i.e., with a little plushness. They're not. They are very thin and seem more like an industrial carpet tread.

I got these to make it easier for my dogs to do the stairs and 6 months later they are still holding up great. The sticky tape is holding firm, the treads feel good to my feet, and I can sweep the outdoor detritus off fairly easily.

My dogs were slipping on the stairs and couldn't make it all the way up before tumbling down :-( I had to carry them up and felt awful. Set the carpet treads, and the Bubbie's are bounding up and down the stairs with glee! :-)
