Does the trick I got this for the foot of our bed to put pillows and blankets in and it does just that. The depth is great. Does slide a lot on wood floor but nothing that rubber sticky pads can't fix.

It looks like a linen fabric, but it is much more durable...more on the canvas line. It is a dull finish and has an ever so tiny basket weave look - quite nice.

Thanks Joann527c! :) Your response is much like the other customer said. I appreciate the assistance from both of you greatly! My clients are spoiled and want to know the exact fabric type, dimensions, colors and whatever else that comes to mind. I understand tho... they just want to make sure what they are buying is what they need. I usually can provide it for them. CustomerCare must have been really busy since July! :) I see a lot of unanswered questions and try to help those I can too. The bench seems really nice. I've seen the "Guernsey's" in faux leather and bonded leather too. Think this is the first made with fabric. Thanks again and enjoy the holiday! :)
