Read MoreThe quality is typical Mikasa, which is always nice. However, you can tell they are the seconds, or rejects, as they don't all match very well. This doesn't bother me too much, but if you're looking for a perfectly matching set, this isn't it.
Read MoreLove these! Even prettier in person.
Read MoreEveryday use, and no chips yet! They are nice looking dishes.
Read MoreI purchased the dishes for a birthday gift for my bachelor son. He is very picky about everything. My son loves the dishes. He said he loves the color and quality of the dishes.
Read MoreI love these dishes. They are beautiful, dishwasher safe, and exactly what I wanted.
Read MoreThis dish set is terrific, tough, and really pretty. Is oven-proof, dishwasher safe, and microwaveable. I heartily recommend and would definitely repurchase!!
Read MoreI had purchased a set of these dishes elsewhere for the same price, but the previous purchase had 4 additional butter plates in addition to the 16 pieces in the Great Offer Stock purchase. When I went back for a second set the first store was out. I was very happy that Overstocks carried the dishes because I just love the style. The glaze on the set is beautiful and is designed to be streaky. Mt first set (purchased elsewhere) was carefully matched so that all pieces were in the same color range. In the set from Great Offer Stock, the mugs had a much darker interior glaze that do not match the plates and bowls. On one plate I noticed a skip in the glaze on the eating surface. On my first use of that plate (after running everything through the dishwasher) the plate broke in half while I was eating my dinner. I assume that water was absorbed into the body of the clay and that the steam from the dishwasher caused a fracture. The dishes are marked as microwave and dishwasher safe. I had been using the first set I purchased for a few months with no problems. The set from Overstocks seems to be seconds. I will keep them, but I will no longer use them in the microwave.
Read MoreI was a bit concerned when some people said plates broke in half before they even used them. I was looking for attractive dishware that could be used to heat up food in the microwave. The plates are larger than I expected, but very attractive, and they complement my wedgewood stoneware "oats" from the 70's. They have a custom pottery aesthetic.
