The reviews on this piece were spot on. This looks great from far away but if you get closer you can tell that the wood isn't real wood and the handles are plastic. Not many people look that closely at a tv stand though so I don't see this as an issue. Love the way it looks in my living room.

Probably one of the nicest pieces of furniture I own. My guests always comment on how beautiful it is. I have to deduct one star though due to the quality of materials. One leg broke off cleanly from the pressed wood construction on the bottom.

We loved this tv stand, but in less than a year one of the legs broke! I guess you get what you pay for!

Looks just as good in real life. Fit perfectly in the TV Room. If you're ok putting together IKEA furniture then this is just as easy.

The TV stand looks identical to the picture. The only problem is the white veneer is somewhat delicate. During the assembly process, the veneer chipped in a couple places despite not being handled in a rough fashion. Using a bit of white out, I was able to easily cover the chips, making them noticeable only upon close inspection. Overall, very pleased with the purchase.

I'm very happy with this stand. It has a great, modern design and is very sturdy. Obviously, some elements are not the highest quality, but if they were you would be paying 3X more. Most important to note, the handles are NOT metal. They are light, plastic, and hollow. But you don't notice this unless you actually touch them. The wood look is actually pretty good. I'm an interior designer and work with laminate and veneer every day. I have gotten other products on Great Offer Stock with disappointing "wood" finishes, but this one was pleasantly surprising. For the price, I'm really happy with this and foresee having it for a long time.

I love the look of this white wood against the light wood. The contermporary style is nice but it was a lot shorter than I anticipated. I should have paid closer attention to the measurements. The directions are a little tricky when putting together but I'm also not the handiest; Make sure you pay close attention to which way the finished and unfinished sides should be facing as it's not labeled on the directions. Overall, I'm happy with this piece though!

Exactly like the picture, easy to asamble, and great design

Purchases this for our living room and it looks great! it is composite board, but is constructed very well. The only issues is the handles are plastic. I went a purchased 2 metal ones and makes the piece look even better.

We are obsessed with mid century style, and this stand completed the look for our room. Easy to assemble and looks nice.

This retro tv stand is perfect for my space and love the style. Shipped out and made it to me within a week. Took some thought to get it together. Wasn't happy with how box arrived. Was pretty beat up. Did have a mark on TV stand, but able to fix. Otherwise love everything about this stand!

The finished item is great. However the assembly instructions had incorrect info on at least one critical step. This required rework and made a challenging task harder. Despite that the final product looks great in my living room

tv stand is durable and great height that matches to couches, but it's very heavy, and the doors for the shelves can be a bit flimsy

I ordered this piece last weekend and I am enjoying it less then a week later. Shipped quick, arrived on time, and I didn't pay for shipping - amazing deal! This piece is sturdy (replaced an ikea stand) and easy to assemble - my boyfriend put it together in 40 minutes with no issues. I thought maybe the legs would be a bit wobbly, but that's not the case at all. It's holding up our big 50 inch TV nicely with no issues. It looks like a piece I would have paid WAY more money for at other retailers (upwards of $500). I have a beachy, light, open air space (lots of palms and faux sheep skin) and this piece compliments that feel perfectly. The wood is very true to the first image - not super dark, but also not light - just a good in between. I have a few other pieces in my home made from different types of wood in varying shades and this compliments them nicely. There's not too much extra space on the top once your TV is there, but enough to put speakers, a small vase, or other items (depending on the size of your tv). The wood panels slide smoothly and allow you to cover and uncover the 3 different sections. Each of which supply a lot of great storage space - those electronics can be such an eyesore - but this piece makes everything look much cleaner. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend this piece to anyone who's looking to bring a little modern sophistication into your space at a very affordable price (trust me, I looked EVERYWHERE! ;))

The box was over 70 lbs so it's not cheap Ikea 'wood'. This is made pretty heavy duty and is perfect for my 30 inch TV and turn table to fit on nicely. It is a great buy for what it costs and I'd buy it again if I had to. Building wasn't hard either, the instructions are very thorough and all the steps are very clear. This is coming from someone who has mental break downs every time I buy an Ikea piece I need to build.
