I fell in love with Woodstock chimes about two years ago when my husband went on a business trip back east & brought one home as a gift. They are high quality & made with care. I am hooked on them & so far, I have collected three. Although this particular one isn't as big as the others, it has a nice sound & I really enjoy listening to it dance in the wind. It hangs outside of the master bedroom, where I have my garden plants in the summer. I can open the windows & hear it on a breezy day but it is hardly noticeable with the windows closed. I am into healing with gemstones, as well as chakra balancing so I am partial to the look of this one. The metal wind catcher piece is super cool with an ancient swirl symbol & a row of polished gemstones representing each of the chakras hangs in the center, making it visually stunning. If you are after a smaller sized wind chime that doesn't sound high pitched or 'twangy' then I would recommend this one for sure. I have another chime from Woodstock that is similar in length but is slightly larger, which has a louder, deeper sound. To compare, on this one the tubes are much thinner & the sound is softer & higher. It really depends on what you're after. This one would work well for a small space or a spot where you don't have to worry about it bothering someone close by. I am happy with this chime & plan on getting a second one for the other side of my house.
