The stools are worth the price, especially in my home where we are just two and when guests are over, we use the dining room. The color is true to the photo, teal and the frames are dark wood. The "foot crossbars" are sturdy on which to rest, but you need a sole on your shoe, or a slipper of some sort, because they are hard metal and a bare sole is uncomfortable. One last thing: the manufacturers should indicate where to insert the screws on the backrest. You have to approximate and you better have a good eye!
