We needed a very narrow table with a high frame, so we could reach under the top to press the recliner's electronic button. This fits the bill very well, will not stick out in the walking path, and heavy enough to not topple over easily if accidentally pushed. It is wide enough for one lunch plate, or small laptop, and mug of course. Received in time, assembled in 20 minutes without instructions, nicely packed, securely wrapped pieces, all pieces intact as well mostly without finish blemishes. It has been cleverly designed with a cam-and-lock as well as Allen wrench assembly. Quite impressive. Finish is quite smooth. Why the 4 stars? On one side the cam lock hole had the veneer bulge out visibly, the plastic screw hole covers don't match - they are almost red; and then, the whole table is practically made of MDF with cherry veneer. I hope the veneer will not separate. Legs are pine. If one were to place magazines in the rack, they will surely buckle over since there is a top bar across the center, but no separation in the bottom part. A flare in the rack would have been most convenient in terms of design. Overall however, a nice little piece, not too modern, not terribly eye-catching, but nicely designed and convenient. Seems like a keeper.
