This is a nice, affordable bed. I bought it to replace my antique brass bed that, unfortunately, got mangled in my move. 😡 That situation aside, I'm pleased with my selection -- pretty finish, easy to assemble (be sure to tighten those bolts down securely) and very sturdy. Unlike some, I've had no problem at all with squeaks or creaks or dents. My only complaint (and it's a minor one) is the support leg closest to the footboard shows unless you use a bed skirt, something I don't plan to do. No, it's not my beautiful, now trashed, brass bed, but I'm content with the substitution. One suggestion: ask someone to help you unpack it, or have some heavy duty scissors on hand to cut the boxes open. Whew!
