This is not a stuffed, plush, sink into chair. This is, however, a COMFORTABLE chair. It's difficult to describe. It has no cushion to it, but it is a good size and has a low back, so your neck will rest easily and you won't want to get up. The arm rests are also study and of good quality. When we sit in the chair, we are comfortable, but not a LAZY comfortable...more like taking a rest to watch the news and then get going again comfortable, lol. Also, I like this chair because it is versatile - it could be placed in an office, bedroom, living room, etc. It isn't like a big, plush living room recliner that cannot be repurposed in a different area of the house.
