This curtain panel is wonderfully thick and heavy. It's very luxurious and plush velvet. There are hidden tabs on the back of the curtain panel if you want to hang it that way, or you can do the pocket route, which is also included. I did rings. The rings were a little more tricky because of the hidden tabs made those areas of velvet extremely thick. There are even weights in the bottom. Very plush and high quality. My one complaint is that the curtains aren't as white as they appear in the photo. The photo shows them fairly white, against a white wall and basically matching that wall. That is not accurate. If you look at the curtains that are color "eggnog" on this site, it's fairly comparable to those. More cream/ivory/eggnog in color. The description says "off white" but the photo says "more white than not." Pay attention to the description, not the photo, and instead look at an ivory or eggnog panel for a more accurate color depiction.
Excellent quality. I purchased the 120 inch panels for a dramatic floor-to-ceiling look and it really paid off. They did such a great job of darkening the room that we purchased an additional 2, 120 inch, panels for my daughter's room. The panels not only darken the room significantly but also help with exterior noise pollution. Would definitely recommend!
The Exclusive Fabrics Signature Off White Velvet Blackout Curtain panels are exactly as represented in the Great Offer Stock description. They are beautiful. The fabric is off white as described and the material has a velvety feel. The panels are constructed to use the loops at the back through a curtain rod, as well as drapery hooks or placing the curtain rod through the rod pocket. The drapery fabric is heavy with weights at the bottom. The lining is also nice. No need to iron as they come perfectly wrapped and ready to hang on their curtain rod. They have a perfect blackout quality to reflect light. I would recommend these drapery panels highly. The price is great. I have purchased four of the panels and love the way they look! Thank you for providing a nice product at a very reasonable price.
I ordered these beautiful velvet panel curtains for my living room located in the front of the house. They do a good job of covering the windows when needed and allowing light in when open. I hung them high and wide, about 2" from the ceiling and 4 inches on either side of the window and they look great. The fabric looks luxurious and is very soft to the touch and is a true off white - no cream in these at all. Pleased with my purchase.
Not quite 50 inches width Fabric was dirty
I looked for sooo long for blackout curtains, read tons of reviews, and finally landed on these and so glad I did. They are very high quality. Gorgeous in my room. But more importantly, I can sleep again. My new apartment on the second floor had direct sunlight coming in on me at 6am and I could never sleep. These do a great job of blocking the light. I can sleep in now, and it’s glorious. It’s not a full blackout since they’re a lighter color. If you want that, I’d go with black. But I am so happy. You can use the tabs on the back or put the rod thru it. I use the tabs. I would recommend the curtain rods that are French/industrial looking at Target. You can make the curtain wrap around so the edge is covered, too. Also, this definitely controls the temperature. I’m not freezing or overheating anymore. Thanks Overstock!
3rd time buying this brand of velvet curtains from Great Offer Stock. I own 18 panels now in 3 different colors. This time I purchased this set that are not the extra wide. I wish that I went for the wide one, but still extremely happy. Porcelain is off white (not tan and not white). For those who complain about not being room darkening, they are but the lighter the color, the more light filters through. I own these in black and grey and I definitely noticed that the black works best, then grey, then white, so keep that in mind. Prob not a good color for a media room if you need something extremely darkening.
Color as shown in the picture (true off-white), and no issue with the lining showing through the curtain or impacting the color of the curtain. No issue with curtains being wrinkled or stained out of the box. The fabric is soft and luxurious. The length is perfect and I love the billowing effect of the curtains on the floor. These are really best with a curved rod (for a better full blackout effect). These were hung on windows (two were ordered) that receive heavy direct sun in the morning. When opening the curtains in the morning, it was also noted that they do have some impact on controlling temperature as well (beneficial for both the summer and winter). Very little light comes through the curtains.

DON'T OVER THINK IT! I spent 6 months looking for the right white velvet drapes for an elegant/casual bedroom. I found these and decided to take a chance. They are great. My walls are an ecru/sand color almost like the picture with this item so there is a contrast to the white of door frames and base boards. My baseboards are Home Depot - Behr premium "Swiss Coffee" so walls are obviously darker. This drapery color really leans well toward this Swiss Coffee color and creates a beautiful natural soft white (and reads white when you look at it without being neon cold white) against the walls. I wish more people would put their paint swatch colors on reviews of things!
Beautiful, luxury looking window panels. Thick and heavy fabric, slightly creamy shade. Unfortunately I had to return it because color didn't match with exactly the same brand extra wide off white curtains. I still recommend it.
I ordered a pair of these velvet curtains for my bedroom. I wanted to pair them with my Pottery Barn furniture in Everyday Suede -stone color - and it was a success. The OFF WHITE color is exactly as pictured, there is no yellowish tone to it like you would find in a beige. Overall, I am very pleased with the appearance and the quality of these panels. I also own a pair of West Elm velvet curtains ( no backing ) and the quality -thickness- of these curtains is much nicer than my West Elm ones.
I love these. They are elegant and beautiful. I ended up buying a second pair. Highly recommend these
These panels are so soft, I want to use them as togas. But considering how much I paid for them, I suppose I'll hang them instead. Incredibly soft and silky, the weight is great and the light bounces off of these divinely. I've never seen so many options for hanging--rod pocket, back tabs and sewn-in panel tabs for curtain hooks. The hooks even come with purchase! I've not yet hung them so don't know about the blackout rating, but I know they will be sufficient. I paired these with untreated red oak rods and sconces and they match beautifully. I do wish they could be machine washed, as I'm sure the velvet will pick up extra dust...
Low quality material, this is definitely not velvet - more like microfiber. It's light and thin, not plush and heavy like velvet. Blackout liner not so thick, light still came through. Had to return it and am still on the hunt for luxurious white velvet blackout curtains - this ain't it!
I really like how thick these curtains are. The velvet is soft and smooth and makes them look expensive. The one panel is not as wide as i expected, I used it to cover a door and it just fit the width. Very Happy with how it looks! I would recommend these curtains if you're on the fence, go for it!
These panels are very well made and what I (as a designer) consider to be excellent quality for retail window treatments. The fabric is a nice, heavy weight velvet and they are nicely lined. The only reason that I give them three stars is because of the color. They are a pure white, I'm confused as to why anyone would have referred to the color as "eggnog". They are a true white, which is why I had a problem with them. I took them out of my living room two months ago (only having them for about 6 months). They show every spec of dust and dirt. They looked TERRIBLE after just a few months. Had I rated them as soon as I received them, I would have given them 5 stars. But i regret my purchase and wasted $*** as I just sent them to a local charity organization. They are dry clean only, and would need to be cleaned every three months. What a pain. They have been replaced.
White velvet blackout curtain panels are truly beautiful - color is not quite white, but a little lighter than ivory. Lovely color and very heavy. They look much more expensive than they are and worked great with some other similar velvet curtains in black. Recommend!
Like the weight of the fabric, beautiful soft buttery feel, and it is lined! Great price for this 10 foot long pair of curtains. I yet to hang, waiting for our drapery rod to arrive. Love the option to have in various ways. Can be hung casual or more formal/structural way. This allows you to change the feeling in the room, plus the color allows me to move it to other rooms as well.
These curtains look really nice. They are a little more like microfiber type fabric compared to actual velvet, but it doesn’t bother me as they still look really good. And for the price they are great curtains and if my kids stain one then I won’t be as mad lol. They are heavy and hang well. They have little loops on the back that you can insert pins through and then hang rings on the pins.... just what I was hoping for. They are a little more off white than what I was expecting (but definitely not a yellowy cream color, more of an ivory off white- which I like).
Absolutely love these thick black out curtains! They are very high-quality and heavy weight. That being said you do need a substantial and better quality curtain rod to hold the weight of these. Back when I ordered these the off-white color was a very off-white. I recently ordered more panels to add in my home and they turned out a very bright white. I ordered them twice to make sure. Now they are definitely a bright white compared to the old off-white color. Something to keep in mind when reading reviews. The color dye has changed.
