So I bought both this piece along with the Furniture of America Sivenza End Table (which i am using as a nightstand) and LOVE the way they look together! Being particle board and veneer, the average quality was expected. I was pleasantly surprised that the base, top, and 2 sides were considerably think (1 inch) which gives this chest a beefier look. It was a pain to put together (about 2 hours) but was easier since i started with the End Table first. The studs are simply metal thumb tacks you hammer into the wood, which my becomes scratched silver color if using a metal hammer. A rubber hammer would ensure the studs color stays rustic bronze. They do look seamless once installed.
I used the middle hole of 3 for all the metal drawer sliders since it does not specify. Be sure the small side screw hole is facing the correct direction as stated in the picture. Once installed the drawers are perfectly smooth and close flush and hold a TON!
Also, even tho the metal wheels are an awesome aesthetic touch, they do not sit well on carpet. My chest is leaning slightly forward due to the wheels, which is not a huge deal for me since I think it is more my cheap carpet.
Together these 2 pieces make my room look much more put together, especially matching my dark espresso bonded leather bed frame.
