The dresser itself is not the worst press board type piece of furniture I've ever seen, but it's not the worst either. The pros are that is comes assembled and the bottom of the drawers aren't super thin cardboard -- they're a step up and a little sturdier. It's part wood and part press board, so it's a functional dresser, but not something that's going to last too many years. What amazes me is that it arrived in one piece, so I'll give it credit for that. It was packed for shipping very poorly. In fact, when I did not receive any shipping confirmation from Great Offer Stock after several days of ordering, I contacted them by chat. I was told the dresser was damaged in shipping and the shipper had returned it to the warehouse. I was not notified of this and would never have known this had I not contacted Great Offer Stock by chat. The rep said he would re-issue me a new one, which would go out in a couple of days. Again, after a couple of days, I hadn't received shipping confirmation, so I contacted Great Offer Stock by chat again. The second rep told me that item was a custom made order (this is, in no way, a custom made order) and it would take a few days before it shipped. I wanted to cancel and refund my credit card, but the rep continually avoided my request to do so. Finally, after repeatedly requesting assistance with regard to cancel/refund, she wrote that she could not do that, as the item was already processing. She advised me that I could receive the dresser sometime within 10-days -- maybe more, maybe less. The arrived 2 days later in a box that had obviously been severely damaged and re-taped The press board foundation that supported the dresser was completely broken into pieces. Apparently, it was never sent back. Apparently, I was not issued a new item. Apparently, it was not a custom made order. The dresser is okay. It survived. What's not okay is the say Great Offer Stock handled my order. I'm sticking with *** where pricing is better, shipping is excellent, communication is prompt and customer service helps resolve problems -- not cover them up.
