it's just okay I give it 3 stars because I felt like I couldn't be too harsh considering it is a super cheap price. I put this bed together by myself and overall it was pretty simple. However, make sure that when aligning the under bar slats, that you pay close attention to how they will align with the long middle bar. I got all of mine in (which was just shy of a magic act doing it myself) and then realized that two of them were backwards when they didn't line up with the other piece and had to undo them and redo them correctly. Also, the head board and footboard lean inwards slightly...it drives an OCD person like me crazy but is a bit okay since they won't be rubbing against the wall and scratching the paint. I am not happy with the fact that the welding of the wrap around pieces is already busting loose at the seems (literally). I noticed it before I even placed the mattress on the bed. It does present sharp edges that could slice skin-so be careful. I plan to just use some jb weld and paint the entire metal frame an antique white since I'm not a huge fan of the gray color that it is. It's not worth the hassle to ship and send it back...it's only for a spare bedroom that seldom gets used.
