I bought 8 of these chairs to replace my close to ten years old dinning chairs with similar style. The old ones were purchased from a high end contemporary furniture stores at significantly higher cost, which of course were higher quality, and weight lighter. these new ones are much heavier. For the price, they are decent in quality and style. The are packaged extremely well and assembly was simple. There was no instructions. You just need to figure it out by yourself. Don't know how long they will last.
