Good Choice! I loved it - it look really good in our bedroom. Be aware that if you do wall mounted 100 % , the vent from where the heat comes out can be blocked and cause a fire . We didn't care bz we don't need the heat in FL but the LED lights display -it's very romantic .

We do not recommend placing a TV above this unit as we have no tested it. The minimum clearance we require from the ceiling is 39" but we have not tested this distance with a TV above it.

The manufacturer recommends to keep 3 feet clearance from top, sides and rear of the unit.

"Hi. I love the look of this fireplace! It looks like the great pictures from Luis O. show it flush mounted. How was that done to protect against the heater element overheating, or accessing the power switch?"

Unfortunately, our unit is not meant to be flush against the wall like that customer you stated has it. If you read his review, he states that he lives in Florida and does not care for the heating element. The heating blower and vents for this unit are on top of the unit and therefore should not be mounted that way, you can imagine what it can cause if you do use it with heat blowing but the heat not being able to go anywhere. Product should be used as directed on instruction manual.
