  "The one review of this bed states the bed does not include rails. What does that mean? Does the bed not come with the metal frames on the sides and back of daybed?"

    No, the bed does not come with the innerspring to hold the mattress on the frame, therefore, you have to spend another $*** for the springs plus you have to buy a mattress. When I was selecting this bed, it did not have all the information available to me and I thought I was selecting a daybed that already had the springs and it did not. You would need to spend an additional $*** for springs and mattress if you select this bed.
