This is an excellent product esp. for the price. The weight ratings per the instructions are 225lbs for the top and 300 for the bottom, but this bed can definitely support more weight than that. Keep in mind many mattresses may be too thick for the top. We found an innerspring at a different vendor by Signature Sleep that's only 6" thick and comfortable. The bed was easy to assemble, but definitely requires a second person to help balance things. Only one part was damaged in shipment and there was one with a light scratch on it. Everything else was perfect. The way the fasteners are done allows you to use the allen key quickly unlike some furniture where you can only do a 1/8-1/4 of a turn each time. Some of the welds were a little crooked and some pieces had to be bent slightly to line up, but par for the course for such a reasonably priced bed. Once all sorted out it looks very nice in a room. We bought the black set to match the TV stand we already had. The only other change I would have liked is to have the ladder to be able to be on the left or the right. The way the bed is, it's always on the right. Also in many rooms you may have an issue with ceiling fans overlapping the top of this bed. We will have to downsize from a 48" to a 36" fan to clear the bed.
Very durable and sturdy. Love the full over full size. Not too hard to assemble
My roommate and I decided to share a 1 bedroom apartment but are both in our 20s and really didn't want to go back to getting twin beds. When looking on Great Offer Stock for a full/full bunk bed the price of this one (about $220 with discount) was noticeably different from all other ones I saw - more than half the cost! There were no reviews of it yet on Great Offer Stock so I looked on other sites and it was rated very poor but we decided to take the risk anyways. After placing the order, it took a little over a week for it to be delivered . It came with a lot of pieces but thankfully it came with all the hardware needed (I had read multiple times in other reviews that people had issues with that). It was fairly easy to put together if you follow the directions and have another person or two to help with lifting and balancing, etc. It does wobble but not enough to make us want to spend $600 for a better quality one. It is very spacious between the two bunks, unlike children's bunk beds. There is more than enough room to sit straight up and not worry about bumping your head. Here is the main issue I have with it - Great Offer Stock lies about the weight limit. The actual weight limit amount that was specified in the box it came in is 225 on top and 300 on bottom -- although we have had more weight on bottom - a little over 400 - and no problems, yet! Overall, I am very happy with what we got for the price!
Only downside to this bed is if you have a ceiling fan -- keep this in mind as most 2nd/3rd bedrooms are smaller and the fan may come over the top bunk. Luckily we were able to move our fan over some. The bed is well constructed and easy to put together. Instead of the "bunky board" you have metal rods that fit very well and make for a comfortable top and bottom bunk. I like the placement on both sides of a ladder - giving you more flexibility in how you place the bed. Is a nice greyish/black metal (I think it comes in silver also). Very happy with the project Have an extra set of hand s- makes putting this together much quicker! Can be done by just one person, though.
I bought this bunk bed last year for my teenage sons, they haven't complained once about their beds. There is plenty of space on the bottom bunk for my son to sit up on his bed, and my other son at 6' can still crawl onto the top bunk and sit up just fine. It has been a great solution for them sharing a room. They have been sturdy and don't make any noise.
This bed is good for the price plus one of the few double full size bunk beds I found. It required more time to put together than I though but was worth it.
I Bought this for my adult-sized granddaughters ages 15 & 10 - very roomy! Mattress support is very good. Plenty of room between the top and bottom beds where an adult could sit on the bottom bed and have plenty of head space
The bunk beds are a little taller than we thought. I wouldn't purchase this for older children. The good news is our son is small and fits perfectly in the upper bunk. Assembly was easy and didn't take more than 1-2 hours. If you have tall ceilings I would recommend purchasing this item.
I love this bunk bed set of 2 full size beds, it's really big and can hold weight really well. The only thing I have a complaint on is that even with all the screws tighten it squeaks and jerks when climbing up. Other than that it's been a great bed and my little one loves it.
Great bed. I was looking for a good size bunk for my 2nd guestroom. This fits the bill. The bed was easy to assemble and all pieces were present. I dropped one star only because the bed does feel a bit rickety when climbing in the top bunk ( it sways). However, we fashioned a couple of braces against the walls and it works great for all of my nieces when they visit!
My college son is sharing an apartment bedroom with his cousin. The room is not that big and they didn't want to sleep in twin beds. This bed lets them both have a full size bed.
Love the color grey silver and style of the bunk beds . The only downside is my ceilings are not tall. I should have taken that into account but sons were able to figure it out who would sleep on the top bunk.
Had this in my kid’s room for three years so far. Great quality for a steal of a price. Would recommend to anyone looking for a bunk bed. Really cute
The bed is really good looking but it does not seem sturdy - well at least not for an adult. My kiddo has no problem clamboring up this thing like a monkey. Bottom bunk has LOTS of head room - more so than other bunk beds that I am familiar with. The ladders, being in two locations is convenient, have thin rungs which are uncomfortable on the feet. That being said, I have no intention on returning the product. It's an adequate bunkbed and I have had much worse.
It was very versatile. I got it for my collage age son and his roommate in Brooklyn NYC. The apartments are there tiny so these bunk beds gave a great options to have full size beds. So important for large young men.
It's a little wobbly on the top bunk. But it was easy to put together
I absolutely love the bunk beds it was great for my nieces to come visit.
We ordered this bunkbed for our teen girls to share a room in order to save space. 3 of the main pieces were damaged upon arrival. We were able to fix 2 of the 3 but had to re-order the main pole from the manufacturer directly. It was a huge inconvenience as they did not have overnight shipping and we had to wait a week to receive the replacement piece. The bed itself looks good but it is quite wobbly with a person on the top. Definitely would recommend anchoring this to the wall (it didn't come with anchoring support so we had to buy this separately at the hardware store). Next time, I'll probably go with a wooden frame for sturdiness.
This bed is great and very sturdy!!
This bed works well for its intended use. The ladder is fine but isn't comfortable to climb with bare feet. Also, because it's metal it can be noisy so just something to keep in mind. Very tedious to put together. Overall a decent bed at a decent price.
