I would have given this a five if you would send me the lid. I've tried several times, and either got cut off or hung up on.

Omigosh,, Everyone needs on of these... I am trying to live a plant based diet, and I still need my sweets! Wow, making ice cream with my vitamix and this wonderful ice cream machine is so fun and easy... it makes enough for me to have a little here and there for about 2 weeks. My favorite so far has been "Prickly Pear" ice cream,, so pretty and yummy.. main ingredients: cashews, coconut milk, prickly pear... if your interested in a natural, healthy alternative, there are lot's of great plant based (raw vegan) ice cream recipes out there... Love this machine! super easy to clean also.

I bought this because of the brand's good name for quality products. I am however, concerned that the product may not last very long. The entire unit depends on all pieces resting on a gear-type rotating disk. Everything stays stationary and the bowl spins. It did make wonderful frozen margaritas and ice cream

Bought this for my daughter, and we make all kinds of icecream fozen yogurt, we also use it to make doggie ice cream. It works great. Easy to clean...we love it

Purchased this as a healthier alternative...being able to pronounce all of the ingredients and all. Worked well the first two times. I enjoy a softer ice cream and the possibilities are endless. My teenaged boys really loved it. However, the last two times I have hauled it out, alas it did not perform. The plastic insert that scrapes the lusciousness off the sides seems to have warped maybe? Very disappointed!

I liked my H.B. ice cream maker better than this one. This one's ok, cost more, and is much quieter than my H.B. Don't want to return and have to pay for return shipping so I'll hold on to this one for a while and will replace at a later time with another H.B.

Purchased to replace 1-quart model that died after many, many years of faithful service. Enjoy the larger size and the color is very cheerful. Love the double chocolate frozen yogurt with blueberries and dark chocolate nibs.
