I purchased this to replace my 15 year old Barista burr grinder that finally gave out on me. It is noisier and runs with a high pitch whine but not terribly annoying. It grinds well. I've only used for espresso grind thus far. I like that the receptacle has a lid and contains the ground coffee nicely and helps keep it fresh. If not using right away. It has a gauge to select how many servings/how much coffee you want to grind each time. It is easy to dial to different levels of grinding. I like it a lot! :)
Read MoreI've had mine for over ages & love it. This one was a present for my son.
Read MoreOh yes I have tried to brewers that combine everything. Not so great. I finally have separated all the coffee duties and this one works great for grinding. Easy to clean, and works for small or large amounts. So far no issues.
Read MoreLove it. I bought it for my bf and we both use it often.
Read MoreI have not a chance to use this as of yet . It arrived as expected in great shape. Can't wait to use it
Read MoreI wanted a nice burr grinder for home use. I don't use it every day. I usually grind enough for 2 or 3 days. It has a wide range of grind settings. I use mine for French press and drip. excellent!
Read MoreI love this Burr Mill! A little noisy? sure, but it is grinding coffee beans after all. I highly recommend!
Read MoreIf you are looking for a good, easy to operate, moderately priced grinder, this is a good one. Have had it a few months, and have had no problems with it. The grind is very easy to adjust. Its very simple to set the amount of coffee you want to grind, but does require some experimentation on your part. It tends to grind a little more than set for. If I want 6 cups, I usually set the amount on 4 cups, which will usually yield about 6 scoops. Experiment until you find the amount/strength that works for you. Set your grind, fill the hopper on top, and push the grind bar. When its done, it automatically shuts off. I like my coffee perked in an electric percolator, and have had problems in the past with grounds in my coffee. This grinder is not 100% even in it's grind, but I no longer have grounds in my coffee. All in all, I think 4 stars is a good rating for this product. With it's stainless trim, it looks good with my other stainless appliances. It's easy to use and I have had no real issues that would keep me from buying it again. For the price, it's a good, easy to use, nice looking product.
Read MoreVery pleased. Wide choice of grinds and number of cups. Holds good amount of beans.
Read MoreLOVE our coffee. From french press to a regular pot it handles it all!
Read MoreWe replaced a KitchenAid grinder with this. So far, it is working well. My only wish is that the hopper was glass. I worry that the plastic might not be durable. I appreciate the numerous grind settings and the auto-stop feature. You are able to set the grinder for the number of cups you'd like and then simply press start. No need to stand by and wait for the grinding to be completed.
Read MoreThis works well, grinds well. It's easy to clean too. The one drawback is that you aren't getting an accurate grind every time based on how the hopper is screwed in. You have to play around with it and test the grind if you are serious about your level of coarseness. I like this and use it for pour over and brewed but I would probably try a different model were I to buy another one.
Read MoreI needed a new coffee grinder for my favorite Italian style coffee bean and this turned out to be the perfect choice! Relatively quiet for a small grinder, this one has the multiple settings I wanted, provides for enough coffee to be ground to fill my coffee container in only two rounds and gives a consistent grind size without leaving large chunks of bean. Super easy to operate and is small enough to store off counter. Priced right and it's a Cuisinart which I love!
Read MoreWe've been using this for a couple of years. The plastic grounds receptor has broken along the top because it's really hard to insert it where it belongs after washing without jamming it into its place without stressing the plastic walls. I have it taped up and it still works, which is good, since it has to be inserted in order for the grinder to work. The appliance takes up as much space as a blender on the counter without giving back more benefit than a small cheapo grinder and costing 5-10 times the price. We use about 2.5 scoops of coffee; over half a scoop is gathered up in the top corners stuck by static to the plastic grounds receptacle. The rest varies in grind quite a bit, too. Once all the beans are ground to a minimum size, there are lots of particles that are very small. We use the Chemex pour-over system because it's all glass, so it's easy to get the rancid coffee oils off by washing. Not so with the grounds receptor which is hard plastic so you really have to attentively wash it so that it isn't retaining oil which makes coffee bitter. You can't wash the hopper without endangering the unit so I clean it periodically by grinding rice in it. I'm sure good grinders have that same problem no matter what they're made of. On the other hand, it's here and it still works after two years.
Read MoreEasy to load and operate, this Cuisinart burr coffee grinder has plenty of settings for the exact fineness of grind you want. And there is no guesswork on how long to grind - the machine knows when to stop. Couldn't be better!
Read MoreLove it and perfect that it does the measuring for you!
Read MoreI am totally happy with this purchase. Have had it for almost a year now and runs like it did the first day i got it.
Read MoreI've had one of these burr grinders for years, so when it began to run down I decided to replace it with the same model. Got a good deal here, but when I opened the box, little plastic pieces fell out. The interior of the hopper section was completely shattered. Will be returning the grinder this afternoon...if this is any indication of the quality of the products that I'm going to receive, then this will be my last purchase from this site.
Read MoreI love the many grinds I can get, so simple. A little, well, a lot noisy, but does a great job of grinding.
Read MorePretty good with grinding beans and grains.
