Read Morehaven't used this item yet but got metal instead of clay as the clay has a tendency to overheat and crack..directions are not clear so had some difficulty putting it together..wooden handle supplied for the door (?)..will have to substitute a metal one...wooden handle would not screw into the latch..kept falling off....

Read MoreAssembly relatively easy, if you have some basic tools. (crescent wrench, pliers, screwdrivers, etc.) Follow steps on assembly instruction sheet. Functions quite well and allows for fuel (wood scraps, logs, etc.) up to 16" in length to be easily loaded into burn area. One suggestion ----- Use some metal screen material and a large hose clamp to make a "spark retarder" for the top of the chimney stack. Without such a screen protector, rather good sized burning embers will fly out the top. Personally, if the manufacturer would add such a "spark protector screen," that would be great. It would make the fire pit considerably more safe. Hey, manufacturer, are you reading this??
Read MoreI am very happy with the size! It's bigger than most chimineas! Also, it looks good! It doesn't weigh much! I hope it lasts a while!
Read MoreIt's is a great unit . Needed this for watching games this winter on the patio.
Read MoreI knocked one star because I recommend giving the stove a high temp paint coat before use or it's just going to start rusting right away, not major but visible. I assembled it quickly by myself, the legs being the hardest to do on my own and that was manageable. Other than that it's perfect stove for small fire and patio warmth.
Read MoreAll was there and it put together easily. 👍🏼
Read MoreVery cheap. The welds are falling off.
Read MoreEasy to assemble....works great!
Read MoreFlimsy item. Not well built. This is a one season item.
Read MoreI got this as a gift for my daughter, who was able to assemble it fully and thinks it is great. She was missing one critical screw (and verified that she had not lost it herself), but pirated another from a different area to make it work. It is a great looking thing and made a funny, nice Christmas present.
Read MoreGauge of the metal is a little thin, but this was pretty inexpensive. Also had a little rust around the spot where the chimney connects to the firebox, but nothing a little heat-resistant paint couldn't fix. It looks good on our deck.
