ComforPedic from BeautyRest 14-inch King-size Gel Memory Foam Mattress

TBH I probably would have preferred the 10" version of this mattress instead, but that's partly because I didn't realize how tall this mattress would sit within the platform bed frame that I purchased as well. (Had to get an ottoman so my dog could jump into bed with us!) In terms of quality, I'm basically pleased with the mattress, which is medium-soft on top but firm overall. Like any memory foam/gel, the mattress does hold some body heat, but I think it's on the cooler side (which is my preference anyway). Thanks to the king size and material, my husband and I can each toss and turn without disturbing one another. Especially since I purchased this on sale (just after Thanksgiving 2015) I think this was a good value and I would purchase this brand/style again. Note: the mattress was delivered within a couple weeks, in a relatively condensed (but heavy) "burrito" form. There was a slight smell, and we let it air out in a guest room for several days until the bed frame arrived.

Had this mattress in vacation home, wanted to have it in primary residence. MISTAKE!! Was sent a factory second, reject, or some other horrific mistake. Loved our other mattress, hate this one!! Soooo soft, edges are broken down already-have had less than 6 months. Go to the store and lay on the mattress, roll around on it, the additional time spent will save many a sleepless night.

My husband and I have both had back surgeries so sleeping on a comfortable mattress is very important. We had purchased a regular pillow top mattress and box springs about 3 years ago and it didn't take ling to realize that we had messed up. We stuck it out as long as possible but after waking up once again with hurting hips and a tight back, I had had enough!! I had viewed this mattress a couple of times but was a bit paranoid to order something that I had not been able to lay on and examine. After waking up in pain I decided to order this mattress as anything would beat what we were sleeping on (not a cheap set either). We received the mattress in just a few days, got it out and let it sit for 6-8 hours, made up the bed and climbed in for a good nights rest. We have been sleeping on the mattress for 12 nights now and so far, so good. We honestly have not had the aching hips and back when we get up in the mornings. We were prepared to pay for a much more expensive mattress set but so very glad that we took the chance on this one. I do most of my shopping online but not for items this large but it was well worth the chance we took as it really has turned out to be a solution to our restless nights!!!

I was nervous about ordering this mattress online, but thank God I did, because it is the most comfortable mattress I've ever had, including my sleep number. It is soft, like I like it, but yet firm, like my husband likes it. We love it!

This item has been a god send. I was sleeping at the most 4 hours a night. since getting my gel memory foam mattress I have 8 hours a night. Love it!

Softer than I thought it was going to be. Comfortable first night. No idea how it will hold up. Our last foam mattress only lasted a couple years and became mushy. Hoping this one is better. Seems soft though. I'll try to remember to update after a year. Came delivered in good packaging. Thick vacuum sealed plastic rolled up.

This review is on the ComforPedic 14" Kind-size Gel memory foam mattress. I don't notice the 'gel' having a cooling affect versus memory foam we've had in the past. It's still a comfy mattress though.

Love this bed! It envelopes you like a cloud - but is firm enough for support. I wake up refreshed and didn't even realize I had drifted off to sleep without any problems.

We are so happy that we decided on this mattress. Went from waking up with backaches every morning, to having the best night sleep ever! Would definitely recommend this mattress.

Super comfort, but did not notice cooling gel

I like semi firm beds and this one rocks! I've had it for about a month and it's not hot. * good bed for the price.

Monster job to unpackaged and place. But boy do we sleep better now! Only used for few days. Will see if it continues to serve purpose well. Odor isn't an issue. And both of us have allergies and chemical sensitivity.
